Protein has a vast role
in the development and repair of not only one’s muscles, but also it is very
important for our skin, hair, nails and skeletal system as well. Proteins are
basically found in meats, dairy products, and poultry and off course egg whites.
Proteins are categorised into two parts; complete and incomplete. Proteins with
20 essential amino acids are termed to be complete and those with less than 20
or less are termed as incomplete proteins. There are nine types of amino acids
which the human body cannot produce and it needs to be acquired by various food
sources to maintain the body balance. Egg is an important source of protein
which will help in gaining muscles and important amino acids in the body. It
has every type of important natural protein in which the maximum is found in
egg white. This protein has some important value because firstly it is complete
which helps in supplying all types of amino acids to the body, secondly it has
high rates of digestibility and thirdly it helps in supplying amino acids with
incomplete protein to make it a complete supplement for body.
There is a question
which arises in everyone’s mind that egg whites should be consumed raw or
cooked?? The answer is to consume it cooked because raw egg white has an enzyme
which stops the body from the intake of vitamin biotin. So it is better to
consume it cooked because it does not reduce the Protein in egg whites and will
enhance the body without any problems. If one don’t have time for cooking they
can consume liquid egg whites as they are similar to egg whites but are
pasteurized; which removes all the impurities and non required enzymes. It is
tasteless so it can be mixed with some shake and can be consumed.
Proteins are a very
important source of food for those who are building muscles, body builders and
athletes. An egg has yolk and the
albumin; albumin has essential elements which help in building up of muscles.
Protein is found in various sources like fish, meat, dairy products and pulses;
but the maximum amount is found in egg. One egg has the quantity of 6 grams of
protein along with other essential nutrients. Protein in egg whites is the
most pure form of proteins found as compared to other foods which have a
protein element. This marks the significance that eggs are more important in
building up of the body. If one is
looking out for building up of muscles or losing excessive weight then egg
protein is the best supplement to do so. When discussing about egg white one
should not forget about the yolk as it is also an essential nutrient because it
also contains fats and calories which are required for body growth. One should
not wholly get depend on the supplements which contain egg white rather they
should eat a proper natural egg white, as it is more healthy as well as safe.
